Omote is a law clerk at Massey Law Group, where she provides legal assistance in in the practice areas of business law and intellectual property. She is licensed to practice law in California and Louisiana.

With over 15 years of professional experience spanning journalism, communications, project management, and law, Omote’s experiences combine to make her a multifaceted professional with a wide worldview. She is passionate about using law and language to build strategy-driven and research-based brands that connect and engage, whether it be a small business brand or a personal brand. As an artist and musician, Omote is also dedicated to protecting artist rights by helping artists navigate intellectual property law to safeguard their ideas and creations.

Omote earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Writing from the University of Tampa in 2005 and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2010. Interested in the interplay of privacy and business governance, Omote went on to earn an LL.M. in Business Law, with a concentration on Cybersecurity, Privacy, & Technology Risk Management from Florida State University in 2025.

Currently, she is the Webinar Committee Chair of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and acts as the Membership Drive Chair for Pinellas Chapter of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers. Omote was unanimously selected as the recipient for PFAWL’s 2026 Rising Star Award. She is the proud girl mom of two humans, a dog, and a cat.
